“Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.” ~ Isaiah 43:7

It should not surprise you that man is the only being made out of the image of God. As seen in the book of Genesis 1 vs 26; “Then God said; let us make man in our image, according to our likeness.”. He created man in his likeness that we may glorify him. He gave us gifts of different kinds, all of which are for the sole purpose of glorifying our father in heaven.

However, the entrance of sin into the world after the fall of man made us lose sight of that which mattered the most. Through the penetration of sin, we lost direct contact with God, we lost access to all of the gifts and dominion that God gave man.

But with the death of Christ, we have been given an opportunity to reclaim all that was lost. As well as a chance to reign with God in eternity, sharing out of his glory.

Having received Christ as your lord and saviour, it is paramount that we live our lives to please our father.

As the bible says in the book of Mathew 5 vs 16; Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.”

The only way your life can glorify God is by emanating the light of God. To emanate the life of Christ we have to ensure we live a holy and consecrated life. A life that is void of envy, hate, lust, pride, and anger.

A life that is intentional about pleasing God. Give yourself to him to purge you of every iniquity that you may life a holy and consecrated life that pleases him.

Prayer: God, please help me do away with sin, that my life may please You and bring glory to Your name.
