“And if He finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than the ninety nine that didn’t wander away. In the same way, it is not my heavenly father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.” ~ Mathew 18:13-14.

“He leaves the ninety nine always for the one”~ this is a song majority of us are familiar with, on how God is ever ready to chase us until we come home. This speaks to the level of love and compassion God has for each and everyone of us as His children.

Yes, including those who are in the world, regardless of the kind of mistakes they have made, God loves them still. Why? Because He is love.

Seeing the kind of love God has for His own, should encourage us as well to show love to one another.

No wonder one of the commandments given to us is to love our neighbors as ourselves. The instruction was not to “love Christain neighbors” or  to “love those who love you” but your neighbors (could be an atheist, a Muslim, etc.) the command is to love.

How then do we show this love?

One of the most powerful ways to show love is  by praying for people. Specifically praying concerning the salvation of their souls.

If God is willing to chase after one, just so he or she doesn’t perish, then we as well can play our parts by interceding for all men.

As we have been instructed to do in the book of 1 timothy 2:1-3; 1 “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2. for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.”

Gods unconditional love for all men should also be reflected in the way we relate with individuals out there.

Remember, that men get to see Christ through your life.
