“Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with Joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name.” Psalms 100:2-4.
Praise is a joyful acknowledgment of who God is and what He has done for us. It is an honest acknowledgment of God’s wondrous and divine works. God deserves our appreciation.
As long as we are alive, we are created to Praise and Worship God. According to Psalm 150:6, “Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)” The Bible indicates that God inhabits His people’s praises, implying that praise is an invitation to God’s presence. It is inviting Him to live with you and ushering Him into the events of your life. It is also important to know that worship extends beyond singing and dancing.
Worship is a way of life; it is a heart attitude that leads us to absolute surrender and acknowledgement of God as Sovereign. When your Spirit glorifies the Lord and appreciates His works and good actions, you are granting permission for more testimony in your life.
Praise and Worship strengthens our relationship with God, it can launch us into a new dispensation of changes and testimonies. It can serve as a force for overcoming every hurdle that we face in our lives.
Prayer: Father, thank you for your sovereignty, loving-kindness, and your great goodness towards me and everyone around me.
