PLEASING GOD THROUGH OUR WORDS

Psalms 19:14, “May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”

As Christians, we are to live our lives to please God. This means that when we eat, when we sing, when we work, and even when we speak, all should be done to the Glory of the Lord.

This can also be applied to our daily conversations, when we relate with people our conversations should please God. We should ensure to please God and exalt him in our conversations at work, with friends and family.

The bible says in 1 Thessalonians 2:4; But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts”.

Set out time each day to confess the word of God over yourself. The Bible is filled with so much promises that God has set out for his children. Confess the word! Confess God’s promises over yourself! For God is not a man that he should lie or fail, his words cannot fall to the ground. If he has said it, so would it be. God has said so many great things over his children; we must speak them into existence.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for Your word that is true. Help us God to continually profess good and positive words over our lives. Amen.
