“Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever”- Psalms 106

Our scriptural text for today ought to be the state of our hearts as the year rounds up. This year might have had it’s ups and downs, however, amidst all that we’ve gone through, God has been our hope and strength.

God has proven himself to be Faithful all through the way. He has held our hands, guided us, and helped us sail through it. Oh, what an amazing God we serve!

While we reminisce and reflect on all that has occurred throughout this year, we are implored to give ourselves to thanksgiving. We serve a mighty God who has been faithful, is still faithful, and will still remain as such.

Praise God for who He is! Praise Him for how kind, loving, and merciful He has been all through this year. Rejoice, for He has given us freedom, blessings, and victory. He has been our safe place and help. He has been our rock and peace.

Brethren, rejoice! Let all that you have praise the Lord. As the year wraps up, rejoice! Praise the Lord of hosts for His faithfulness and utmost love shown towards us.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for Your never-ending love for us. As the year comes to an end, help us to fix our gaze on Your goodness and kindness towards us. Amen.
