“With Joy, you will draw water from the wells of salvation” ~ Isaiah 12:3.
Joy is not just an emotion, Joy is the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Joy of our salvation is a real experience, that strengthens us inwardly and outwardly. It is a light that flows from within us, a genuine happiness that draws every other person closer to God. It is this Joy that makes people testify that the Lord has done great things for us.
“Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations ‘The Lord have done great things for them’.” Psalms 126:2.
The devil is always trying to undermine the Joy of believers, because he knows that when we approach God’s throne with Joy, we receive blessings. In the book of Philippians, we were told to “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice.” Philippians 4:4.
Joy allows us to access our inheritance in Christ. We should not be ruled by our circumstances, but by the Spirit of God within us. We can receive answers to our questions, and solutions that make us over-comers if we remain Joyful. Joy gives life, hope, and the capacity to access abundance while Gloominess prevents us from receiving all that God has provided us.
The enemy’s plan is to overwhelm you with circumstances, but the Bible says to rejoice always. Never lose your Joy, it is a fetcher.
Prayer: Father, help me rejoice always and appreciate the gift of salvation. Help me to live joyfully so I can draw from the wells of salvation.
