THANKING GOD IN THE GOOD AND BAD

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth”Psalms 34:1

We live in a fallen world—a world marred by hatred, envy, anger, and jealousy. It’s no surprise, then, that troubles and challenges are an inevitable part of life. Jesus Himself forewarned us about this:
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Yet, what truly matters is how we respond to the challenges that come our way. In times of trouble, do you find yourself consumed by complaints and negativity? Or do you remind yourself of the powerful and faithful God that you serve?

Thanksgiving is not dependent on our circumstances. We give thanks in every season—the good, the bad, and even the ugly—because our God is worthy of praise at all times.

Enough of the complaints. Enough of the wailing. Brethren, it’s time to put on your dancing shoes and thank the Almighty! And if you don’t have dancing shoes? No worries—praise Him anyway! The act of thanksgiving is powerful. It shifts our focus from our struggles to the One who is greater than them all. It reminds us of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and sovereignty. Thanksgiving renews our hope and calms the storm within our hearts.

Let thanksgiving become your culture, your way of life. God does not change, and neither should our gratitude toward Him. Be cheerful! Be joyous! The mighty One of Heaven’s armies is your God, and He is always with you.

Prayer Point: Dear Jesus, help us to be thankful at all times. May our lips never cease from giving you the praise and adoration that you truly deserve.
