“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”~ 2 Corinthians 13:14
In the past few weeks, we’ve explored what it means to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It’s natural to wonder how to truly engage in this fellowship. The answer, however, is not unfamiliar; it involves spending time with Him through prayer, worship, and studying the Word.
So, how is your prayer and study life? Are you consistent and passionate about God? If so, well done! May the Lord continue to keep that fire burning. However, if you’re struggling with maintaining consistency in your prayer and study routine, know that you are not alone. Everyone experiences seasons of fervency and coldness.
What’s crucial is how you respond during these challenging times. Do you wallow in your struggles, or do you seek help?
The latter is always the better option. That’s why it’s important to surround yourself with like-minded individuals—brothers and sisters in Christ who can support you during your weak seasons. Having a community that prays for you and encourages you is vital, as Christianity was never meant to be practiced in isolation. God intended for us to support and uplift one another.
In addition to your personal fellowship with the Holy Spirit, participating in the gathering of believers is essential, as highlighted in Hebrews 10:25:
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
These gatherings encourage and can help strengthen your personal relationship with God. For example, a testimony from a fellow believer about their relationship with the Holy Spirit can inspire and elevate your spiritual journey.
The key is to remain connected with the Holy Spirit. Stay in Him, and He will guide your path.
Prayer Point: Holy Spirit, please help me be consistent in my fellowshipping with You. I want to build an even stronger relationship with You Lord, please help me!
