“But God has brought you into union with Christ Jesus, and God has made Christ to be our wisdom. By him we are put right with God; we become God’s holy people and set free.”~ 1 Corinthians 1:30
Above all men and women who operated in the wisdom of God, Jesus still stands out as Wisdom itself.
As we can discern from the scripture, Jesus embodies Wisdom; He is the source of all Wisdom.
It’s not surprising that during his time on earth, he demonstrated a wisdom surpassing mortal understanding, exceeding even that of King Solomon, renowned as the wisest king to have ever lived.
On the Day of Judgment, the Queen of Sheba will stand up and accuse those who fail to recognize this truth, for she journeyed from afar to heed Solomon’s wise teachings, yet something greater than Solomon is here. (Matthew 12:42)
In this scripture, Jesus affirms to us all that his wisdom far surpasses that of Solomon.
This implies that if we seek to admire a biblical character for their wisdom, Jesus is the ultimate example. He alone possesses and perpetuates the direct Wisdom of God. He is Wisdom.
Therefore, in all our daily endeavors, we can seek his wise counsel, teachings, and guidance, knowing that we have access to Wisdom itself.
James 1 vs 5 says; “If any of you lacks Wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him.”
This is the Lord telling us to freely ask for Wisdom. Although the chapter goes on to highlight the importance of Faith when asking for Wisdom.
Verse 6; But let him ask in faith, with no doubting for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”
The Holy Spirit resides within us, granting direct access to the Wisdom of God, a wisdom surpassing even that of Solomon or David, surpassing that of all men.
Prayer: Lord, help me function in Your Wisdom. Help me have faith in Your Wisdom that is available to me. Amen.
