“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:57

This new year, one of the steps we believers ought to take is walking in the fullness and finished works of Christ, embracing it fully and walking in its reality.

We have victory already. We are prosperous, for the Lord our God has blessed us with heavenly treasures.

We are healthy, for by His stripes we are already healed. We can go on and on with the promises that God has made and the blessings that are already available for us here on earth.

But we need to step into and walk in the reality of these words this year.

We need to come into the consciousness that we are children of God and that we serve a God who is the creator of everything that exists.

Therefore, the enemy cannot bully us because we know who we belong to.

We cannot be sick, no matter the doctor’s report, because we know that in Christ, healing has already been settled.

We cannot be poor because in God, we are made wealthy enough to be blessings to others.

It all starts with the mind.

So this year, make a conscious effort to believe first in your mind the realities we have access to in Christ.

The victory is already ours, but there is a need to shift our mindset to that of a victor!

Let us not accommodate any voice that says otherwise.
