“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit”– Romans 15:13

Research shows that we make between 33,000 and 35,000 decisions daily, indicating that we engage extensively in planning. We set plans in motion and even devise backup strategies to support us when our original plans fail. However, we must remember that Christ also has plans for every one of us.

Jeremiah 29:11 serves as a beautiful reminder of the wonderful thoughts God has toward His own. We must never lose sight of the fact that we have an ever-caring and loving Father. God cannot mismanage our lives; His plans for us are always good.

Even in our darkest storms, we can trust in God’s plans, for they are inherently good. Though they may not appear favorable on the surface, we rest in the truth that God is a benevolent Father, and everything He does for us is good. We must live with this knowledge at the forefront of our minds.

Total surrender is a significant step that we ought to take in our walk with Christ. Often, we involve God in certain aspects of our lives but exclude Him from others.

The truth is, God is interested in every part of your life. Surrender everything to Him—past, present, and future, He is the safest and most reliable place you can dwell.

Therefore, entrust everything to Him and let Him work it out for your good. Allow Him to remain God over every aspect of your life. As He orchestrates your path, all you need to do is hope in Him and follow His lead. Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for the wonderful plans You have for us.
