“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'” ~ Hebrews 13:5

Are you disappointed? Or not pleased with the results gotten from last year? Had you hoped and expected a kind of year? Only to end up with something else?

Well, this is a reminder that God’s got you.

Whether or not things went good or bad, remember that God’s got you.

There is a tendency to want to run this year based off the emotions we have carried over from last year.

Of course, the emotions are still there, because if we really look at it, we just changed dates – the year does not automatically wipe the slate clean.

So why feel dejected? Like a failure? Or as though you achieved nothing? When God’s got you.

Remember, He works per time and seasons, and not per year.

The year 2024 has ended; that does not affect His will and plans for you in any way.

For all you may know, He might as well just be getting started on settling your requests, on making your work yield fruit.

All you have to do is trust Him.

Trust that His will for you and His plans for you are perfect. He is not a God that will leave nor forsake you, so why worry?

Last year did not meet your expectations? Well, God is still on the throne, and your story has not ended yet.

For all you know, you might as well be stepping into your new season.

Trust in Him; He is worth trusting in.
