Life comes with its own challenges and trials. Jesus knowing this, warned us ahead in John 6:33b, which says, “In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.

Jesus has paid the heavy price for us; he has redeemed our souls. Heaven is our true home, where we would reign with Jesus forever! Amidst all that is occurring or may occur, believers should never lose sight of the fact that this earth is not home. (1 Peter 2:11)

Thus, we are implored to fix our gaze on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:12) No matter what comes our way, we must remain strong, ever trusting in the Lord. We have no reason to doubt or fret, for greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) Rather than be shaken, keep the fire of God burning in you. Let that fire strengthen and empower to sail through diverse trials and temptations.

A life lived for God is worth living. Be strong and courageous, let your faith be not shaken, the fire of the Holy Spirit burns in you!

Prayer Point: Dear Jesus, let Your fire continually strengthen us, that our faith in You may remain firm and deeply rooted. Amen.
