“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” ~ Matthew 1:23
The story of the birth of Jesus is one of the most popular stories in the world. Of course, to no surprise, as God indeed wanted to glorify himself.
Just a quick refresher: our messiah and saviour’s birth was a miraculous occurrence that has no scientific or medical explanation.
How does a virgin woman who has never known a man have a child?
In the eyes of men, it is beyond reasoning! It is impossible!
It is an occurrence that can never be a reality. But then with God? All things are possible.
Indeed, God showed Himself powerful and mighty by showing us that nothing was too hard for Him to do.
By sending His one and only son through the vessel of a virgin woman – Mary.
Just like the birth of the messiah was a miraculous event, in many other situations in our lives, we might not know it, but God has been doing great and miraculous things in our lives.
We are grateful for such an intentional and mindful father, who thinks of us at all times. A God ever ready to do the miraculous in our lives. Thank you, Jesus!
Prayer: It’s a season of gratitude, and today we reflect on the miraculous nature of God. Thank you for your miraculous doings in my life, Father.
